Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Signal Processing Engineer to join our team, specializing in the development of Signal Processing Algorithms for processing & analysis of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) & Optical satellite images. In this role, you’ll get to be part of an R&D team working on applying state of the art Signal Processing algorithms on Satellite data.

Design, Develop, Test & Deploy various digital signal processing algorithms and data processing software for imaging and non-imaging radar and other remote sensing payloads on satellite systems.
Design of Digital Signal Processing time/space/frequency domain Algorithms and Development of Software in Higher Level Languages.
Optimization of Software for near real time Software Execution.
Continuously improve the quality and performance of existing signal processing algorithms by applying latest research in the field.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Signal Processing, and space technology to drive innovation in the field.
Create and maintain documentation related to the ongoing/developed processes and applications.

Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Communications Engineering/Information & Communication Technology and should have taken Digital Signal Processing in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Professional Experience: 2+ years Hands on experience in Simulation & Processing of Digital Signal Processing Problems and should have worked on at least in one project where he/she has applied time/spatial domain & frequency domain techniques for simulation or processing.
Experience of processing data in frequency/spectral domain using FFTs is necessary.
Knowledge of core Signal Processing is necessary.
Proficiency in python is necessary – numpy, scipy, pandas, skimage and opencv.
Aptitude for designing digital signal processing algorithms and implementing software is essential. Required Capabilities for Problem Solving.
Should preferably have experience in statistical & mathematical modelling and building algorithms and models from scratch.
Experience in simulation in Matlab/IDL tools is an added advantage.
Understanding and experience in image processing algorithms will be an added advantage.
